Yes it is time to clock on to the latest Craft Barn Dictionary challenge. My word was suggested by the Allsorts challenge, via one of the DT make which used the Gorjuss White Rabbit stamp. I have this stamp and as I hadn't inked it yet, I thought... serendipity!!!I stamped all images with black dye ink and coloured the girl with alcohol markers. I finished the colouring with pencils.
The set comes with 2 "empty" clocks and a set of hands. I used the hands on one clock to show Alice is an hour late and stamped a few other clocks without any hands at all... thereby marking UNtime!
As usual, I added definition and letter.
Well another CAS (or very nearly) dictionary page! I hope it's OK anyway...
Also entering the Polkadoodles, Craft Stamper and Colour Crazy challenges.
Great use of the clock and fabulous colouring of the image.

ReplyDeleteVery nice CAS page! I love your choice of word for the 'U' and the images to go with it! Cool detail that some of the clocks are left empty without hands. The girl is beautifully coloured! xx
ReplyDeleteSomething a little different for you Christine, I expect to see inks, but this is done beautifully - would fit in at Allsorts a treat.

ReplyDeleteA great card. I saw untimely in the dictionary and thought how on earth would you do that?! Now I know! I love the details of the clocks with different times xx
ReplyDeleteI was impressed with your choice of illustrating the word you chose. Those clocks are wonderful. I've never seen clock faces only before, so adding the hands was genius. Not only a unique word, but a clever way to illustrate it.
ReplyDeleteGreat word choice and a very cute image! xx
