From little acorns...

Difficult to believe this is the 18th letter of the Craft Barn Dictionary challenge, but we are in the last stretch,  the finishing line is in view and I haven't given up!

The letter this fortnight is O, no twist. I decided on an ultra simple design, without any colours. I'm not sure why but I let my mojo or lack off to take the lead!

I stamped this oak image (from an old Plaid set by Anna Griffin "In the Garden") with black dye ink, entwining the letter O with the acorn. This is one of my very first set of stamps (remember when polymer stamps were NEW?), bought at the Craft Barn, which started me on my stamping addiction journey.

Thanks for coming by,

  1. CAS cards always stand out in a crowd Christine. Simplicity at it's best.

Been using Anna Griffin stamps for about 15 years now, I have quite a few wood mounted ones obtained from QVC, which if I am honest is my preferred preference with stamping but the deep rubber ones come a close second. All clear stamps are not created equal but hers are excellent quality and give a great image as your tree certainly shows us.

  4. Sometimes less is indeed more and you could have added loads of colour and spoilt it. A beautiful tree needs showing off!

  6. I'm not much of a stamper, so I would give you an A+ for this beautiful entry. It is definitely one of my favorite Os. You did a fantastic job and kept it simple, too. Glad you allowed your mojo to guide you this time.

  7. What a fabulous stamp - it doesn't need anything else. And is it really number 18! Not sure where this year has gone, but I'm always saying that!

  10. A perfect interpretation. I think this looks very elegant and I love the way the O joins up with the acorn. That is a great stamp.

  11. Ha ha we all know it's an addiction really! Sometime simplest is best and I think this is really beautiful. The stamp and definition really compliment each other and entwining the leaf with the O is a lovely touch.

Bises
