For my background, a very loose "wall" was stencilled in blue Distress ink and a table top in Antique Linen. Both stencils were created with Tim Holtz Mixed Media Thinlit dies.
For the bottles, I used the stamps from Paper Artsy Hot picks 1203, 1204, 1205 with Archival ink on acetate.
I coloured my bottles with alcohol pen from the reverse and glued them on the background with glossy accents.
One last thing to finish this page... the dictionary definition.

Great card! Love the color of the bottles. Very clever,
ReplyDeleteVery topical in my household today Chritine and the definition would definitely be "too many bottled in the recycling", I say no more for fear of recriminations !!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to create your own masks and they give a nice subtle background.

Love the bottle stamps & your clever use of the alcohol inks with acetate. They look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove the bottles! Why do they look different in each photo? Thanks for the ink advice on mine! :D
ReplyDeleteI took the first photo absolutely straight on so there are no reflection off the shiny acetate. On the second, the top reflects the light from the window and the bottom reflects a shadow, probably my arms and camera.
DeleteWell done on combining these challenges - I love how those bottles look!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love those bottles. They look so realistic, very well done.
ReplyDeleteHello! When I saw the photo I thought it was a photo of real bottles and the next photo would be them painted or something, so you can imagine how massively impressed I was when you said they had been stamped! They look totally amazing and you have done a fabulous job! Cxxx
ReplyDeleteI always adore those bottles and they look fabulous here - and the simple background lets them shine!

Fab bottles, great idea to stamp on acetate and then colour them in, the acetate creates that mottled look which gives the impression of real glass bottles. Lovely background too x
