I can't believe December is upon us! All the Christmas preparations I have still to make... With less time on my hands, I am now making simpler cards and today I am showing one with the same Studio Light Basics Clear Stamp And Die Set - No.17 I used on my Shaker Spinner card earlier this month.
I chose to stamp in colours but stamping all in black will work just as well and be even faster.
I started with my main elements, stamping and embossing in silver the larger star bauble and stamping in black the sentiment (from the Next Door Clear Stamp Set - Poinsettia)
Then I stamped the baubles in a meandering line above and below my focal points and coloured them with waterbased markers, creating shading with a waterbrush. Some details were added with silver gel pen.
A thin black pen line links all the baubles and a few star confettis add sparkle.
Supplies:

WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad
WOW! Metallic Embossing Powder - Silver
Next Door Clear Stamp Set - Poinsettia
Memento Inkpad Tuxedo Black
Memento Dew Drop Inkpad Danube Blue
Memento Dew Drop Inkpad Tangelo
Tonic Studios Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens
Zig Watercolor BrusH2O – Detailer Tip
Uni-Ball Impact Bold Point Gel Pen - Silver
Manuscript Black Fine Liner Pens
Tonic Studios Nuvo Confetti - Desert Sunset Stars
I have enjoyed playing with the Studio Light set No17, especially since dies and stamps can be used separately to produce both simple and elaborate cards. There are 4 sets in total covering all essentials motifs of Christmas.
Should you purchase any of the products I have used on this card, select 'Design Team' in the 'where have you seen us' drop down so we know we have inspired you!
I shall let you get on with the Christmas cards push...
Thanks for coming by,
