Gelli Printing with inks

Today I am showing a Gelli Print technique on the STAMPlorations blog. It doesn't use acrylic paints and is a lot more controllable as a result, it also works in transparent layers, unlike paints, which are usually opaque.

I made the background of this tag and a few others with this technique.

Vintage lace from my collection, stamps, stencil and die-cut all from STAMplorations:
Trendy Leaves - Shery Russ Designs
Trendy Birds 2 - Shery Russ Designs
Senecio 1 - ARTplorations Stencil - Sanna Lippert Designs
CUTploration phrase - Life is Good

Do check out my step by step on the STAMPlorations blog!

Thanks for coming by,
I am entering the SSS Wednesday, Penny Black and more challenges.

  1. It's a great background Christine and really linking that bird with the script, makes him very eye catching.

  2. Apols I didn't thank you for joining us at Penny Black and More when I visited yesterday, truth is I can't see the small print especially in white so have to rely on the photos on reading lists and Linky;s.

  6. This is a lovely tag though making me feel guilty as I haven't used my Gelli plate for ages. You asked about the voucher and I hadn't intended mentioning it again but it still hasn't arrived I'm afraid. Have a lovely creative week, Angela xXx

  7. Coucou, je file lire ton pas à pas sur le blog !!!
Ton tag est bien beau, et ça m'intéresse de voir comment tu l'as réalisée, car je dois justement préparer un projet à la gelplate + encres... ce dont j'ai moins l'habitude! :)
