I stamped the flowers first and coloured them, thinking I would mask them before the next step. Unfortunately the masking wasn't 100% proof and a lot of my yellow, blue and orange sprays have obscured somewhat the flowers... Still the grainy effect was to my liking so I kept it!
The stamp set is CMS453 "Exquisite" Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.
Once dry, I die-cut the image and a mat with the AALL & Create Roadway Vistas #78.

It's impressive how you've turned a masking mishap into a beautiful grainy effect that adds character to the card. The use of Tim Holtz's Exquisite stamp set is truly inspired, and the combination of yellow, blue, and orange sprays brings the flowers to life. Great job on embracing the unexpected and creating something unique!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card, I like the soft colour effect you've achieved with your happy accident.
