Double tag

Hello crafters,
This fortnight, the Allsorts challenge optional theme, chosen by Brenda is "Autumn colours". As usual, you can also enter with an "anything goes" theme.
I made a tag with a difference...

I started with a piece of AALL & Create paper, which I die-cut leaving the top of the die out of the sandwich.
I changed the colours by applying several layers of Distress Oxides using the smooshing technique.

The focal points are from the Penny Black Silhouettes stamp set (40-239), I stamped the portraits on white card and the frames onto black card, embossed in gold. I fussy cut both before assembling.

Some Field Snippets and a bit of Washi Tape (AALL & Create) finish the tag(s).

As the size is relatively small, I am thinking this would make a good bookmark, if there are any people left reading physical books...

I’m sure I’m still one of many who love to read physical books! xxx

  2. Beautiful tags, love the colours and the silhouettes. I alternate between a kindle and physical books - I have so many I still need to read!

I read real books, and my book mark is a tag a friend made!

  4. Beautiful and creative tag Christine, great idea adding ink to change up colors on your patterned paper. I prefer a physical book but read a lot on my kindle.
