Welcome to my second post for the January Country View Challenge, where the theme is Landscape/Cityscape, which I am hosting. Let's meet up on the High Street here at Crafty Town to observe the architecture...
Country View Crafts is now stocking Picture this stamps and they are perfect to create a cityscape with buildings, people, vehicles and more... These are A6 (10.5cm by 14.8cm or 4" by 6") so will fit on standard cards, but they will gain by being stamped on larger cards. Designed by a watercolour artist, they are ideal if you want to cut down on the drawing time and get on to the actual colouring, as I do!
I simply stamped and masked the house on the left (Tudor Hill) and then stamped the right hand side buildings (The Ally) with Memento ink in black. All the colouring has been done with alcohol markers, with minimum shading.
I love the quirky and artistic look of those images and long to add more to my collection... I have spotted several which will help me tackle some large scale watercolour painting without worrying about drawing or perspective.
I hope me and my teamies will inspire you and you will join our Country View Challenge. I can't wait to see what you will make!
Thanks for coming by,
I am entering the SSS Wednesday, challenges.

Harrumph - now the whole post has appeared, I see it wasn't just a sneak peek after all! Don't know what's up with Blogger - things are loading so slowly... I just love those higgledy-piggledy Tudor houses, and the colouring really is fab.

This really is fabulous Christine, I though it was one big stamp, but now I see you've built the scene yourself. Sooo good! xx
