Mid month already and time for second dose of inspiration for our March Stamplorations Theme and Photo Prompt challenge.
You can choose to follow either the theme or the sketch, and, of course both, for the chance to win a prize! If you'd like to be considered for the prizes, please make sure you're linking back to the challenge post and displaying the challenge graphic.
For my second make, I followed the theme and used the pink colour from the photo prompt.
I used the stamps from the Wooded stamp set. It has wonderful buds, leaves and stems to build up a plant of your own, as well as some "tree making bits" that I haven't used here.
I stamped all the motifs without masking but did some careful inking to get to the design you see. My stamping platform also came in handy, either to deepen colour or add ink where it was missing.
I coloured the roses with alcohol pen.
I die-cut the focal image and the card base with the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies and sandwiched a pink mat in between.
The STAMP girls are showing inspiration for all the challenges on the STAMPlorations blog so pop by and don't forget to enter our Theme and Photo Prompt challenge.

Gorgeous card Christine and loving those stamps and dies too. Thanks for thinking about us, we are home after a great skiing holiday but so pleased we went a week earlier this year as they have now closed all the ski resorts in France and I feel sorry for those people we saw going up the mountains as we were leaving, they are telling them they must leave as soon as possible. Inghams reps told us that those clients that should have been going to Italy would be going to France instead so they will have been shocked by this news and that was only Thursday when they told us this. Hope you have a lovely creative week, Angela xXx

Simply stunning Christine. Lovely composition. Really like how you added the pink frame to break it up. Thanks so much for sharing with us at ATSM this week.

Wow, such a pretty card! I love the softness of the roses and the way the colours are layered together with the stamps - perfect 😁. Take care and sending happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stamping. I like your design
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining at Stamping sensations.
Oh, oh, those roses are pretty! Beautifully done - the subtle tinting of the rosebuds and the earthy olive colour of the leaves and stems is simply gorgeous. I see the stamp set is sold out - I bet that's your doing!

Pas forcément mon style mais j'avoue qu'elle a beaucoup de charme.
