Challenged by Joanna Wardle

Joanna on the Paper Artsy blog this week has inspired me to make not one but two projects week... OK they're  Clean and simple so it didn't take to long!

My first one follows Joanna's card recipe here:

My second card is based on this idea :

Not so pleased with that one... I should have mixed a better colour for my texture paste flower or finally acquired that Treasure Gold! I used oil pastel here but it just doesn't work as well.

Thanks for coming by,

  1. I think both these are really good! I like the second one with the music too. I have invested in Treasure Gold and I do recommend it; it might make all the difference and you might end up really liking this second one too with the addition of TG! Julie Ann xx

  9. Two fabulous CAS Cards, love the spatters on the first. Thanks for your comments on my blog, the art pad has a 300gm rough textured card, not tried it yet but have been told by someone who has used it that it takes inks, paints etc well.

  10. I like them both and actually love the music one. Maybe the flower needs a bit of a lighter or gold touch to bring out that gorgeous texture. I hit my pumpkin with some green on the high points and it just gave it a bit more life. Thanks for your constructive comments on my blog. It's nice when people like but it's great to get a tip or idea that maybe you haven't thought of. Even if you have thought of it it's nice. Do drop by again soon. I posted more candy so don't forget to leave me a comment. Have a great day
