The flowers have been stamped following the Rubber Dance colour scheme (the flowers are 3 steps stamping), then die-cut with the matching dies (Papertrey Ink).
I chose a transparent plastic as a base for May and arranged my flowers on it.
Sounds simple, but I spend a whole afternoon stamping & die-cutting my blooms! And only 12 flowers and a few leaves to show for it... (I stamped some extra for later use)
Thanks for coming by,
Also entering the We Love to Create and Stamping Sensations challenges and especially for Bev from Uniko Studio, who has her birthday in May!
Stunning flowers Christine and the vivid colours really pop against the crisp white.

A great idea with stand out flower images
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
The flowers are great.
ReplyDeleteThank you Fiona! I went to check your calendar page and I like your textured flowers. As to the Magenta colour... I had to check on google if it was red or pink!
DeleteAll that stamping and die-cutting was worth it! Fabulous page, and I love the transparent base.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are gorgeous, and well done for the forethought of cutting more for later, (I always forget), I like your idea of using a transparency for the backing; I like the scalloped edge.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my page, I'm glad you like my flowers. You did miss those butterflies, you can see them here if you like http://twinkletoes2day.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/anti-journal-pages-and-little-flutter.html
But now I have five more at the chrysalides stage, in the net habitat, and I don't think they will be long in emerging, there is the occasional twitch happening. I will post photos once they appear :-D.
Fabulous flowers and stunning colours! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous calendar with us at Stamping Sensations.

Beautiful blooms, fabulous colours. I love the floating effect of the frame thanks to the acetate.
ReplyDeleteOh la la bravo, elles sont belles tes fleurs et tes fleurs, on dirait presque des 'die-cut' pré-imprimés tant elles sont parfaites!!
