Sew Shabby (chic)

Stamping Sensations challenge's theme this month is Sewing inspired, which is my opportunity to test my latest Rubber Dance stamps!
I decided on a shabby chic style with lots of lace motifs which I found on the Live and Love Craft blog.

I used textured paste with a Prima doily stencil on the Kraft background, a printed paper which I punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.
I stamped my dress form on a piece of Prima paper (old collection) and gave it a bit of colour with a pink Gelato. A scrap of tulle and a bit of ribbon creates dress in progress on the dress form.

For embellishments I added real and faux buttons, a doily,  other stamped elements from the same Rubber Dance set and a scrap of gauze.

Thanks for coming by,

  5. Hi, very pretty card. I don't know if you remember but you commented on my snowflake over at Rubber Dance Scandanavian blog. First, I appreciate that. It seems most english speakers are afraid to comnent on a foreign language blog. I though all these tablets and i-things give instant translation. Course, if you never visit a blog in another language then you probably wouldn't know that!! Anyway, I did reply to your comment and try to encourage you to get out the craft knife and ruler but, would you believe? I was on the Docrafts site the other day and they have a die to cut the snowflake pattern. And it was on offer!! I don't know how big it is but i ordered and its winging its way to mummy's house ,so I will pick it up in november. Just thought I'd let you know. Hugz
