Going down the Pub

As promised a second project shown on the Crafty Individuals blog for my Guest Designer spot.

If you come often here you'll know I like creating scenes with stamps and Crafty Individuals have quite a few stamps that are perfect to build your own landscapes. Today's CAS card is using the CI-474 'The Village Inn and Church' .

To make it I first inked a Mixed Media plate with various inks to give an ombre look from orange in the sky to green for the grass.
With black Memento ink, I stamped the Village pub, couple and the sentiment from the CI-402 'Just Be My Friend' set.

The detail of the pub image is fantastic and I took full advantage by stamping on White Silk Card - 'Regency Satin' which takes dye ink beautifully.

Stand by for more Crafty Individuals images in the near future....

I am entering the SSS Monday Challenge challenge.

  5. I love the circle of colour - amazing effect. If you fancy it, you've just got time to get it in under the wire at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which has Ombre as the theme this week (today's the last day).

  6. This is lovely and so romantic. I love the ombre background with the contrast of just black stamping. Great one! Thank you for joining Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
