This month for our Country View Challenge, Monika want us to Be Humorous... a theme I approached with trepidation I can tell you! And then I had a (rare) moment of inspiration and I came up with a play on words, witty if not laugh out loud.
I used Rubber Dance Mama Owl and the bird from Whimsical summer stamped with black ink and coloured both birds with pencils. I also used pencils to create the branch for the owl to rest on .
I stamped the word Tweet (from the Birds of Paradise set by Stamplorations) and printed the sentiment in the bubble before die-cutting with a speech bubble die (MFT Blueprint 7).
[For non native English speakers, my "Tweet to who" sentiment sounds like the "Twit twoo" call owls are supposed to make] .
Do join us with your humorous makes and enter our May Country View Challenge for a chance to win a £ 20 voucher to spend on crafty goodies.
Thanks for coming by,
I am entering the Addicted to stamps, SSS Wednesday Challenge, Paperbabe, Rubber Dance challenges.
