It has been so hot over here that I couldn't even lift a stamp! Which is why it's been so quiet these last weeks on my blog. But, today there is a break in the weather and I have managed this item:
I stamped the elephants, masked them and over stamped with the tree stamp. Then, I applied Distress inks with both brayer and Distress foam.
I finished with the sentiment, stamped with Versafine.
All the stamps are from Creative Stamping magazine issue 57 (May) which comes with a full size sheet of clear stamps. Some of the images in this stamp sheet have been designed by Crafty Individuals, in particular the endearing elephants shown here.
Keep cool and carry on crafting....
I am entering the SSS Wednesday, Lost Coast Designs, The Artistic Stamper, Fashionable Stamping and That's Crafty challenges.
Beautiful card! I love the way you have shaded the colours and the elephant stamp is too cute 😁. We had a couple of hot days last week and it's turned much cooler today with some rain, which my garden is loving ...lol 😉. Happy weekend! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteAnd what a fab way to illustrate the heat! It looks sunwashed and red hot! Lovely. Hope the weather cools down a touch - it's much cooler here, today - though I miss the sun!
