I wanted to use a wood pattern for that burst of nature since I love the look. I have stencils, embossing folders and several stamps to get that texture and settled on an old Impression Obsession CAC for its sheer size (6"x6").
First I applied Distress inks all over the tag and then stamped the woodgrain image with Forest Moss Distress ink on top.I die-cut and embossed several leaves (Memory Box and Joy Crafts) from a piece of alcohol ink photo paper I had lying around. I highlighted the texture with Walnut Distress inks.
I added a Paper Doll (TH93555 - Tim Holtz® - Ideaology™), giving them a path to stand on thanks to a scrap of paper and added a quote from Unity stamp (Change is Never Easy) on a die-cut (MFT Blueprint 7).
I can visualise a walk in the woods kicking the leaves and dodging the falling chestnuts... before warming up next to a chimney log fire...
