Happy Valentine!
I am just in time to show this tag… I had fun with a bit of Mixed Media and embossing powders on this make and I tried to use some old stash too…The background has been made with layers of a thin paper in pink and red applied on top of Mod Podge . I painted the paper with Fresco Matt glaze to be sure the Mod Podge wouldn't interfere with the next layers.
I added stamping in the background, then transparent matt texture paste through a stencil
Before the paste dried I sprinkled several embossing powders, mixing different colours in the same areas. I used the heat gun later when the paste I dried.
The embossed hearts have been die-cut from metal.
Finally the centrepiece, an image by Lost Coast Designs has been stamped with Versafine black on silk card (very smooth, slightly reflective coated paper). In combination the ink and the card give an amazing level of detail!
Supplies:
Kisses and Chicken wire stamps: The Artistic Stamper
Handscript stamp: Paper Artsy stamp set ESN10
Woman in hands: Lost Coast Designs
Fresco Finish Matte glaze: Paper Artsy
Mod Podge Matte: Plaid
Transparent Matte texture paste: Ranger
